Is It Just Me?

Have we lost our minds? is about each of us as individuals, and collectively as a country of people. We are allowing Progressive and Liberal thinking to become adopted as mainstream new legislated standards. This pattern must be reversed if we are to survive as a free, prosperous, and independent people. Time is of the essence!

Two centuries of allowing free enterprise to work has surely proven something. It is that individual motivation, product development through creativity and competition, and business opportunities have brought us innovation, progress, and success like no other nation has ever had on Earth.

Just a few years of excessive government controls, over taxation, ridiculous political ideology, and unreasonable business practices have nearly killed America's entrepreneurial advantage, and bankrupted the people's wealth and their inspiration to achieve. Please realize: For every action there is indeed a reaction. We cannot allow this nation to be destroyed.

I once heard a very wise man make a significant statement in regards to an immense personal failure when he said, "You cannot just walk away and start over to rebuild your life; you must rebuild your life with the rubble you have left that remains collapsed all around you." That wise man was my very own son making the statement to me—a son who until then thought it was practically impossible that I could fail at anything. I had just failed miserably. That statement by a young man proved to be astonishingly powerful and true—and it still is!

This country and our people are in a similar situation. We have allowed ridiculous behavior and impractical conditions to prevail. We must stand up and make a difference in our 5 country. We must be faithful to the goals, aspirations, and laws of our forefathers, as well as to the Lord God of the Universe.

Moral decay, greed, power hungry people, business exploitation, financial collapse, political corruption at practically every level of government, and the improper training and education of children are but a few of the problems. Our tax system is outdated, too complicated, and punitive. Our US Constitution and Bill of Rights are continuously violated or ignored by judges and political leaders. Common sense is an increasingly rare commodity.

    Carefully consider this:
Government cannot SPEND this nation into Prosperity, but rather into Poverty.
Government cannot CONTROL its people into Freedom and Liberty, but rather into Dependence      and Malfunction.
Government cannot PROVIDE you with every need from cradle to grave, and yet allow your      Personal Dignity to remain.
Government is the most disastrous manager of any financial asset and the more government      controls the National Wealth the less of it there will be.

Think about it: The government opts for the ?cash for clunkers? program to the tune of three billion dollars in order to help our economy—yet does not have the foresight to require that the new automobiles purchased must at least be manufactured in America.

The program mostly helped Japan because of Toyota purchases, even though Toyota does have some American manufacturing plants. Plus, the three billion dollars was borrowed from other countries, and will have to be repaid with hard earned tax dollars from American workers who still have a 6 job. Considering the recent accelerator problems, Toyota may need to confiscate equipment maker John Deere's motto and claim, "Nothing runs like a Toyota."

Our Problem: Are there enough patriots and tax payers—past, present, and future—remaining to vote to restore our American republic to something close to the constitutional conditions that made us the most successful nation on Earth? I hope so, but I am really not sure. Our nation is in a traumatic struggle, and an immense transformation must take place during the next election cycle if our Republic is to survive.

There are many of us who are willing to spend the rest of our lives trying to make a difference in the future for all who really care about Freedom and Liberty—and the future of this great Republic. We all need to think clearly about drastic changes that are happening. Remember, Knowledge can bring you to Truth, and Truth can provide you with Wisdom, and Wisdom can transform Thinking. Know who you are and speak boldly!
